news: More Councils now have proposals for net gain of more than 10% in adopted or emerging plans

There are now nearly 20 councils with adopted Local Plans or draft Local Plans requiring a gain on more that 10%. Two councils are proposing 30% biodiversity gain. Councils proposing more than 10% net gain include Guildford, Yorkshire Dales National park, South Cambridgeshire, Cherwell, Swindon, Wiltshire, Tower Hamlets, Richmond upon Thames, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey Heath, Mole Valley, Sevenoaks, Maidstone, Swale, Canterbury, Mid Sussex, Brighton and Hove, Worthing, Swindon, Wiltshire and East Devon
